In honor of tomorrow's post on wedding announcements, we're asking our loyal newshers to describe or post a picture of the worst wedding announcement you have ever seen... even worse than Derrick and Jedi's announcement highlighted on the NR a couple days ago - that was mostly just a textual issue (even though the layout was poor as well.)
Our favorite worst announcement? Let us expound:
The facial expressions of both future Mr. and Mrs. were attractive. Pose was respectable - no choking, groping, or bling bearing. Background was classy. Lighting was excellent.
But, bUT, BUT on the head of the Mr. was a white, flat-brimmed baseball cap. He wore a unbuttoned white shirt and tie to add to this horror - how he still managed to wear a tie while his shirt was unbuttoned was almost impressive enough to gain our respect back. But not quite. Because he's wearing a white, flat-brimmed baseball cap! Not even a black one. A white one. One that shouts: "I'm a recovering tool and my hero used to be this guy."
Not okay.
But congratulations.
